Who we are

Fin Designs Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 09027637. Our registered office is Unit W8A, The Knoll Business Centre, 325–327 Old Shoreham Road, Hove BN3 7GS, United Kingdom.

This notice

What we collect

Visiting this site does not create an account, and we do not ask you to fill in a form. We do not show advertising, and we do not sell personal data.

If you email us, we use your address and your message to reply, and we keep that correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with what you wrote. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps taken before a contract if you are asking about working with us.

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser and the page requested, so the site can be kept secure and reliable. We do not use those logs to identify you. They are kept for a short period and then deleted.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to accept or decline. Choosing English or Italian is a normal link: we do not store your choice.

We do not use local storage, session storage or similar technologies either.

Measurement

We measure visits with Umami, software we run ourselves at analytics.findesignsltd.com, on the same server in London. It sets no cookie. It records the page, the referrer, screen size, browser language and a session marker that changes each day. It does not record a lasting visitor id, and it does not record replays or heatmaps. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not measure that visit.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are used. You can object at any time by emailing privacy@findesignsltd.com.

Where the site is hosted

The pages are served from a server in London, United Kingdom, operated by OVH, over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We do not sell personal data, and we do not show advertising.

European Union

We have no establishment in the European Union. We will appoint a representative under Article 27 of the EU GDPR when our products launch, and we will publish their name, address and contact details on this page. Until then, write to privacy@findesignsltd.com.

Your rights

You can ask us for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or a copy of your personal data, and you can object to our use of it. To do so, email privacy@findesignsltd.com. We will not discriminate against you for asking.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it). In Ireland, the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

When this notice changes, we will update the date at the top. The current version is always the one on this page.
